Senior Demand Planner

Location: Hybrid schedule, reporting to the Deerfield, Illinois headquarters Tuesday–Thursday, with remote work flexibility on Monday and Friday.

Base salary: $70,000–$110,000 USD per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus plan or role-based sales incentive plan.

What you will do

• Manage high-volume key-account forecasts in SAP APO and present forecasts during the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
• Manage promotion, event, and new product launch forecasts, including timing expectations, performance, and lifecycle decisions.
• Drive forecasting collaboration with Business Units through S&OP and the Annual Operating Plan for assigned accounts.
• Track forecast accuracy, bias, and service targets; perform root-cause analysis using SAP BW and Analysis for Office.
• Build and maintain reporting and analysis, translating large datasets into actionable business insights.
• Contribute to demand planning, process improvement, and other cross-functional projects, including statistical forecasting improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of demand planning and/or sales analytics experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• Working knowledge of SAP APO Demand Planning is required, with hands-on forecasting experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with SAP BW and Analysis for Office for reporting and analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of business math, including gross margin percentage, inventory turns, and ROI.
• Strong analytical skills, database and spreadsheet capabilities, and comfort working with large datasets.
• Ability to learn and manage multiple database applications, including customer-specific online systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally across all organizational levels.
• Ability to multitask, adapt quickly to changing priorities, work with urgency, and demonstrate detail, accuracy, and accountability; daily communication with management and Sales is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
• Statistical or time-series forecast modeling experience.
• Experience with retailer online portals.
