Senior Business Analyst

Location: 100% remote, but candidates must reside in the continental United States. Standard business hours are aligned to the Eastern Time Zone. Occasional travel to client sites or meetings may be required.

Salary: $115,000–$145,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Collaborate with DoD customers, stakeholders, and technical teams to elicit business, capability, and system requirements.
• Analyze, document, and improve current and future-state business processes using models, workflow diagrams, and related artifacts.
• Translate business needs into scalable system designs, functional specifications, and actionable Agile user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, interviews, and stakeholder assessments throughout the system development life cycle.
• Support project planning, milestone delivery, requirements prioritization, and implementation of operational scenarios.
• Build relationships with DoD clients and mentor junior business analysts.

Requirements

• Must reside in the continental United States and be able to work Eastern Time Zone business hours.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; United States citizenship is required for eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience supporting business analyst activities, including requirements gathering, management, and decomposition.
• Experience with DoD customers, DoD business processes, and the DON Manpower, Personnel, Training, and Education IT system.
• Experience with Agile teams, business process modeling, BRD and FRD documentation, SDLC processes, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
