Structural Engineer Intern

Location: Seattle, Washington, USA; position is based in Washington State.

Salary: $25–$35 per hour.

What you will do

• Contribute to the structural analysis, design, and detailing of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems.
• Support projects including high-rise buildings, cultural institutions, sports venues, transportation facilities, and renovation or adaptive-reuse work.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other design professionals to deliver coordinated designs.
• Assist in preparing construction documents and drawings within a BIM environment.
• Gain practical experience with structural design, engineering workflows, and documentation practices.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil, structural, or architectural engineering.
• Strong academic record and demonstrated passion for structural design and engineering problem solving.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, StructurePoint Software, and Revit.
