Director, Media Solutions - Scrum Master, UK (AdTech)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid approach with teams in the office around four days a week. This is a UK-based role and requires the right to work in the United Kingdom.

What you will do

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
• Support the Product Owner with backlog management, story definition, estimation, prioritization, and stakeholder collaboration.
• Coach development teams on Scrum principles, Agile values, engineering best practices, self-organization, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Identify and remove team and organizational impediments, protect teams from distractions, resolve conflicts, and support effective decision-making.
• Use delivery metrics such as velocity and burn-down/up charts to improve performance and predictability, and lead continuous-improvement activities.
• Promote Agile adoption and maturity across the organization while helping teams establish and refine their definition of Done.

Requirements

• Experience as a dedicated Scrum Master for multiple software development teams, preferably in a data-intensive or technical product environment.
• Strong understanding and practical application of the Scrum framework, Agile principles, Kanban, and Lean.
• Proven ability to facilitate meetings, manage conflict, and drive consensus.
• English fluency at C1/C2 level.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and mentoring skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
• Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Asana.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and common engineering practices, including CI/CD and TDD.
• Ability to understand complex technical issues at a high level and explain them to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive problem-solving approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Nice to have

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II), or an equivalent Agile certification.
