Internship - Microgrid Solutions

Location: Jenbach, Austria; legal authorization to work in Austria is required.

Base pay: at least EUR 2,698.59 gross per month, paid 14 times per year, according to the Austrian collective agreement.

What you will do

• Enhance the software validation environment for the microgrid control system.
• Develop a model library using Python and MATLAB/Simulink.
• Support continuous integration and automated testing capabilities.
• Tailor the internship scope to align with expertise and interests.

Requirements

• Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related field.
• Have an educational background in and passion for software development, particularly Python and MATLAB.
• Have a basic understanding of and interest in power system control.
• Be self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Be fluent in English.
• Have legal authorization to work in Austria; non-EU citizens must attach a work authorization form.
• Be available for a full-time internship of at least six months starting in January 2027.
