Senior RF/Hardware Engineer (NFC)

What you will do

• Define NFC RF system concepts that ensure interoperability and coexistence with existing 13.56 MHz NFC systems.
• Develop system specifications for chip-external RF antenna matching, chip interface signals, and analog interfaces.
• Run simulations using tools such as ADS to demonstrate expected behavior and identify system limitations.
• Define and execute verification and validation plans for NFC and wireless charging.
• Support the standardization team with technical feasibility analyses and define the content and structure of application notes.
• Present technical concepts within the RF team and to customers.

Requirements

• University degree in electrical engineering or a comparable technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in RF technologies.
• Experience with SPICE simulation tools, including ADS, LTSpice, or Cadence/OrCAD.
• Knowledge of mathematical tools such as Matlab and Mathcad, with a strong mathematical background.
• Solid English skills and willingness to learn German.
• Understanding of magnetic coupling systems, antenna interference paths, and analog circuits for 13.56 MHz devices.
