What you will do

  • Own verification and validation activities for assigned engine platforms and systems.
  • Develop and execute validation plans based on requirements, system architecture, DFMEA, and stakeholder input.
  • Plan and coordinate testing schedules, resources, budgets, equipment, and measurement setups.
  • Execute test-bench testing, analyze results, and coordinate engine inspections with system owners.
  • Prepare validation reports and communicate progress and results to project teams and leadership.
  • Develop validation standards, test methods, and test infrastructure improvements while aligning technical needs with business priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or graduation from a Technical College (HTL), ideally with relevant professional experience.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in engine or component testing and validation techniques.
  • Knowledge of reciprocating engine technology, software integration and validation, engine calibration, and parameter management.
  • Working knowledge of DFMEA, DVP&R, the V-model, and related development methods and tools.
  • Strong analytical, proactive, result-driven, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Fluent communication in German and English is required, with willingness to travel.
