Experienced System Validation Engineer (UWB)

What you will do

• Define and implement hardware setups and laboratory environments for system validation.
• Develop new features for test frameworks, system test cases, test firmware, and test drivers.
• Execute and automate system test cases across hardware, firmware, software, and security components.
• Debug system issues, identify root causes of malfunctions, and perform impact analysis.
• Estimate effort, contribute to risk-based test-strategy selection, and document and present results.
• Develop proof-of-concept implementations with technical and non-technical experts.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience in validation and testing.
• Strong interest in testing complex systems.
• Experience developing embedded firmware for test applications in C.
• Willingness to work with laboratory and measurement instruments, evaluation boards, and related hardware equipment.
• Experience with C# and/or Python.
• Highly independent working style.
• Good English writing and speaking skills.
• Good communication skills for alignment with peers and architects.
• Curiosity and willingness to think outside the box; security-related work may include responsibilities within security certifications and requires a conscious and reliable working style.
