What you will do

• Lead the technical and disciplinary development of the Multiphysics CFD Simulation team and assigned international development team members.
• Plan personnel, competencies, resources, budgets, and costs.
• Build customer networks and own the technical content of project acquisition.
• Manage research and strategic development projects for innovative flow simulation methods and their industrial application.
• Drive the strategic development of CFD/CAE methods, AI-supported simulation approaches, digital engineering processes, HPC/cluster technologies, and simulation software licenses.
• Represent hirify.global through publications, conferences, universities, research institutions, master's thesis supervision, and internships.

Requirements

• Completed university or university of applied sciences education in vehicle development, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in CFD simulation, including in-depth expertise in developing, validating, and industrially applying flow simulation methods.
• Several years of technical and disciplinary management experience with employees and international, cross-location teams.
• Experience in digital product development from the concept phase through series production and in transferring new simulation methods and research results into industrial development processes.
• Sound knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, numerical methods, and flow-simulation solution methods.
• Very good knowledge of hirify.global FIRE, ANSYS Fluent, and STAR-CCM+, plus experience programming, automating, and further developing simulation processes with Python or scripting.
• Strong entrepreneurial thinking and action, communication, organizational, leadership, and networking skills.
• Willingness to travel worldwide for occasional business trips.
• Business-fluent English.
