EHS Engineer (Energy)

Location: Hybrid, based at the Dublin office or a project location in Ireland; regular nationwide travel may be required.

What you will do

• Implement and develop EHS management systems with Country EHS Leads across operational projects, business areas, and office locations.
• Provide guidance on EHS regulations, standards, industry best practices, and sustainability requirements.
• Maintain and develop EHS competence in line with legislative and industry-standard changes.
• Promote a positive EHS culture through communication and stakeholder involvement.
• Monitor EHS performance through audits, inspections, reporting, and incident statistics.
• Collaborate with the EHS team to implement improvements across the regional unit.

Requirements

• Professional qualifications in health, safety, and environment, such as NEBOSH or IEMA.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and sustainability practices.
• Understanding of Irish safety and health regulations and electricity/mechanical safety rules.
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, supported by strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Adaptability to a dynamic work environment.
• Full Irish driving licence.
• Organised, motivated, and enthusiastic approach.

Nice to have

• EHS auditor qualifications with practical experience, such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or ISO 9001 internal or lead auditor certification.
