What you will do

• Lead on-site oversight of power and energization activities.
• Partner with Environmental, Health, and Safety teams to control hazardous energy and drive operational excellence.
• Review safety documentation and conduct audits across the energy program.
• Support electrical infrastructure management throughout the data center campus.
• Train employees on energy isolation processes and procedures.
• Coordinate with construction and commissioning teams to test and validate MEP systems safely.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
• Experience managing construction on large, complex projects with substantial MEP systems, ideally hyperscale data centers or other critical infrastructure.
• Experience with MV switching, construction and commissioning standards, and life-saving system engineering principles.
• Extensive experience as a Senior Authorized Person managing electrical distribution and switching activities.
• Knowledge of breaker coordination studies, switchgear sequences of operation, local electrical codes, CSA, and cooling-system engineering principles.
• Experience managing general contractors and vendors, including RFPs, bidding, and change orders, plus international project experience.
