What you will do

• Design control systems for industrial automation equipment from the concept stage.
• Develop control system design specifications in collaboration with clients and project design teams.
• Select and manage automation contractors throughout the project life cycle.
• Review and provide feedback on system integrator and vendor design documentation.
• Stay current with automation technology trends and liaise with vendors.
• Participate in hardware and software Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).

Requirements

• Degree in Electronics systems, Mechatronics, Automation/Controls Technology or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in the design of Industrial Control Systems.
• Proficiency in Siemens PLCs and software development.
• Experience with software architectures including S88, GAMP, and 21CFRPart 11.
• Knowledge of industrial networks such as Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Profibus, and Controlnet.
• Design experience primarily focused in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices sectors.
