Junior Product Owner (German)

Location: Remote from Cluj, Romania

What you will do

• Identify, understand, and document business needs for a core banking project affecting multiple banking areas.
• Facilitate collaboration between business and IT stakeholders within a mixed team of Business Analysts, Developers, UI/UX Designers, Customer Support, and a Squad Owner.
• Document functional and non-functional requirements, define business context and activity diagrams, and manage entity-relationship diagrams and dependencies.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, write and estimate user stories with the development team, define acceptance criteria, and contribute to project milestones.
• Manage the product roadmap, propose implementation plans to the customer, guide stakeholders, and challenge priorities based on business objectives.
• Perform functional testing and train, mentor, and coach other Product Owners.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Very good ability to understand the business context.
• Experience applying agile methodologies.
• Good communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage change and work in a dynamic environment.
• Proven client-facing and stakeholder-management experience, with focus on customer needs and business value.
• Spoken and written fluency in German and English.
