Junior Product Owner Application Hosting

Location: Hybrid in Utrecht, Netherlands; candidates must be located in the Netherlands and have the legal right to work there.

Salary: €4,105–€5,862 gross per month for a 36-hour work week.

What you will do

• Manage and prioritize the Application Hosting team backlog.
• Gather stakeholder and user requirements, write user stories, and support engineering delivery.
• Support Agile ceremonies, sprint tracking, and communication of priorities and progress.
• Contribute to platform stability, compliance, governance, documentation, ownership, and lifecycle management.
• Help develop roadmaps for application migration, modernization, consolidation, and decommissioning.
• Work with engineers, architects, operations teams, application owners, and business stakeholders to resolve service issues and improve the platform.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Scrum, S@S, Agile, Agile ways of working, and Product Ownership.
• Basic understanding of application hosting and middleware platforms.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business IT, or a related field.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and collaboration skills.
• Good command of English and legal right to work in the Netherlands.

Nice to have

• PSPO I or a similar certification.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server, Red Hat JBoss EAP, and Apache Tomcat.
