Senior Business Development Manager - Operations (E-commerce)

Location: Munich, Germany; four office days per week from Monday to Thursday. Work-from-anywhere is available for up to 4 weeks per year.

What you will do

• Own and execute strategic projects across warehouse fulfillment, logistics, and supply chain planning to support scalable growth.
• Lead logistics and fulfillment setup for international expansion and multi-channel growth initiatives.
• Optimize warehouse operations and redesign processes to improve core business KPIs.
• Drive digital transformation and SaaS migration of the operations technology stack, using AI and automation to improve efficiency.
• Analyze complex datasets, conduct industry benchmarking, and establish best-in-class operational metrics.
• Coordinate Operations, Commercial, Tech, and Finance stakeholders to deliver end-to-end business outcomes.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience in strategy or management consulting, or in the strategy/business development division of a leading e-commerce company.
• Practical experience or strong familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment and logistics operations.
• Proven project management experience, including prioritizing and executing multiple complex tasks while maintaining strategic focus.
• Exceptional analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills.
• A pragmatic, hands-on, and results-oriented mindset.
• Strong collaboration and superior communication skills in English, including the ability to engage senior leadership as a trusted discussion partner.
