LTL Operator (Logistics)

Location: Remote, Philippines; night shift aligned with US business hours.

What you will do

• Process shipment tenders received through EDI and incorporate them into daily transportation plans for assigned sites.
• Consolidate pallets from multiple suppliers, targeting 28 pallets per truck while minimizing the number of trucks.
• Assign loads based on carrier schedules, pickup days, transit times, and delivery requirements, prioritizing long-haul shipments.
• Review appointment changes and exceptions, coordinate rescheduling, and align appointments with required arrival dates.
• Communicate shipment risks, delays, and proposed solutions to customer representatives by email.
• Coordinate daily transportation plans and operational issue resolution with US-based account representatives and the capacity lead.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in logistics operations, such as freight forwarding, third-party logistics, freight brokerage, or trucking operations.
• Excellent written English communication skills, preferably at a C1 level, for communication with US-based enterprise customers.
• Experience managing high email volumes, prioritizing requests, tracking conversations, and ensuring timely follow-through.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, including assessing shipment risks, making operational decisions, and recommending solutions independently.
• Experience with load planning, shipment scheduling, truck consolidation, or coordinating multiple transportation requirements.
• Willingness to work a night shift aligned with US business hours.
• Fiber internet with a recommended speed of 100/50 Mbps and backup internet of at least 20 Mbps.
• A quiet, conducive home workspace.
