Location: On-site in San Francisco, United States; relocation to San Francisco is supported if needed.

What you will do

• Insource and own core operational infrastructure, including vendors, contractors, legal, and HR operations.
• Centralize company spend, consolidate vendors, establish financial controls, and improve spending visibility.
• Support recruiting and people operations as headcount grows across functions.
• Own board reporting, financial planning, and the metrics used by leadership to run the company.
• Identify time and cost inefficiencies, design fixes, and turn unstructured problems into durable operating systems.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience, ideally owning operations at a high-growth startup and experiencing scaling challenges firsthand, or working as a top-tier generalist in consulting, finance, or operations with the ability to learn operations quickly.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, efficiency focus, and work ethic.
• Ability to reason from first principles and move from a blank page to a concrete plan and execution.
• Ability to work with urgency and communicate with structure.
• Ability to enable others and maintain seamless operations.
