Strategy and Systems Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; hybrid work model with three days in the office per week. Relocation assistance is available.

Salary: $216,000–$240,000 base pay annually, plus equity and performance-related bonuses for eligible employees.

What you will do

• Lead strategic initiatives and special projects across Communications from ambiguous opportunity definition through implementation and measurable results.
• Shape prioritization, decision-making, and execution for launches, campaigns, reactive moments, and longer-term initiatives.
• Design AI-forward project management systems that clarify ownership and dependencies, surface risks early, and keep work moving.
• Build operating rhythms, planning frameworks, and shared processes that improve clarity without unnecessary meetings or manual tracking.
• Turn emerging AI capabilities into practical workflows, drive adoption of new tools, and improve ways of working across Communications.
• Partner with Communications, Marketing, Global Affairs, Product, technical builders, systems builders, and team leads on cross-functional execution.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience, including significant experience in strategy and operations, business operations, or program leadership.
• Experience working closely with senior leaders to drive complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience leading complex initiatives from an early idea or loosely defined problem through execution and measurable results.
• Experience introducing AI tools, building AI-enabled workflows, or helping an organization adopt new ways of working.
• Strong strategic judgment, analytical skills, and experience using data to inform decisions, measure impact, and improve team operations.
• Ability to translate ambiguous challenges into clear plans, align stakeholders, and maintain momentum through changing priorities.
• Experience partnering effectively with technical builders and using agentic or no-code tools.
• Clear communication, cross-functional trust building, and the ability to push for decisions, simplify processes, or change approaches.
• Interest in communications and in helping build a high-ambition Communications organization.
