ICT Engineer III (Mission Critical)

Location: Addison, Texas, US, with other listed locations in Los Angeles, Denver, Sacramento, Boston, Chicago, Royal Oak, San Francisco, and San Diego; hybrid model with regular in-office days and freedom to work from home.

Salary: $90,000–$130,000 annually.

What you will do

• Develop ICT system designs for complex projects and produce calculations and technical documentation with limited supervision.
• Manage Revit models and low-voltage system views for project deliverables.
• Perform and validate cabling-distance, voltage-drop, and equipment-load calculations and apply the results to design decisions.
• Resolve coordination issues with architects, structural engineers, and civil engineers.
• Support site visits, field reports, punch lists, and construction administration.
• Review design accuracy and standards compliance, mentor junior staff, participate in technical and client meetings, and provide technical input for proposals and scoping.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification is required.
• 2–5 years of experience in ICT or low-voltage systems design within the AEC industry.
• Familiarity with BICSI, EIA/TIA, NEC, and other applicable telecommunications standards.
• Proficiency in Revit and experience producing and coordinating low-voltage design documentation.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally by phone, video conference, and in person; visual acuity and ability to work for prolonged periods at a desk and computer are required.
