Senior Director, PR & Communications (Cloud Computing)

Location: Hybrid near hirify.global offices in San Francisco, Denver, or New York, or remote within the US. Availability during core business hours is required; travel may be required.

Salary: $209,560–$295,860 annually, with potential eligibility for equity and discretionary bonus programs.

What you will do

• Architect and execute a proactive global PR strategy securing tier-1 business, financial, technology, and trade coverage.
• Lead regional PR execution across AMERS, EMEA, and APJ, including localized press strategies, agency management, storytelling, and media coverage.
• Advise the CMO and executive leadership on media strategy, crisis communications, press opportunities, and executive messaging.
• Partner with Product Marketing and Customer Marketing to turn customer wins and product innovations into news stories.
• Manage global PR agencies, communications budgets, media targets, performance benchmarks, and measurement of share of voice, message pull-through, press placements, and media reach.
• Guide internal and go-to-market communications while managing and mentoring a distributed global communications team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of PR and communications experience across enterprise technology, developer infrastructure, cloud computing, or cybersecurity, focused on media relations and corporate PR.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven ability to pitch, secure, and shape tier-1 business, technology, and financial press coverage.
• Experience leading distributed global PR teams across AMERS, EMEA, and APJ.
• Experience aligning external PR with go-to-market messaging and internal employee communications.
• Experience advising, coaching, and drafting communications for senior leaders and spokespeople.
• Sound judgment managing press inquiries and incident communications under tight deadlines.
• Experience driving measurable press results and accountability across global PR agency retainers.
• Ability to evaluate communications output using media share of voice, press reach, and message resonance.
