What you will do
- Perform monthly accruals and prepare journal entries for R&D project contracts and activities.
- Develop, manage, and track project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance for assigned early development programs.
- Build financial models and scenarios to support pipeline decisions, including program progression, delays, or termination.
- Provide financial insights, analyses, and recommendations for study, portfolio, and business decisions.
- Review and approve contracts and amendments, ensuring alignment with company policies and financial terms.
- Act as the primary finance partner for project teams, supporting trial activities and internal controls.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in accounting and/or finance-related positions.
- Essential experience in pharmaceutical or biotech companies.
- Essential experience in Clinical Trial Financial Management.
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and applicable financial systems and software applications.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Oracle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- MBA or another advanced degree.
