Senior Financial Analyst - Product (Fintech)

What you will do

• Partner with Product leaders to provide financial insight, challenge assumptions, and support strategic decision-making.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance management for assigned product areas.
• Analyse product performance, investment spend, revenue, cost, margin, and key business drivers.
• Identify risks, opportunities, trends, and variances, providing recommendations to support financial targets.
• Build business cases, financial models, and scenario analyses for product investments, growth opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
• Support investment prioritisation, capital planning, governance, quarterly product reviews, and executive decision-making through analysis and presentations.

Requirements

• Completed professional accountancy qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and data management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with data visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Experience building financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses to support decision-making.
• Solid understanding of FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence at all levels, and translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights.
• Proactive, commercially focused, and able to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver accurate, high-quality analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience using Power BI to build dashboards and support decision-making.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data effectively.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting frameworks.
• Experience supporting payments, fintech, or product-led businesses, including knowledge of product performance, investment decisions, and commercial drivers.
