Recruiting & Candidate Experience Manager

Location: Monrovia, California, United States

Salary: $94,000–$130,000 annually, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Coordinate candidates from application through onboarding and their first weeks at Terray.
• Partner with hiring managers to define candidate profiles, interview plans, recruiting strategies, and personalized onboarding plans.
• Post and promote roles through effective channels and talent communities, and determine when external recruiting support is valuable.
• Manage third-party recruiters for quality, effectiveness, and cost.
• Coordinate interview scheduling, interviewer preparation, candidate communication, feedback collection, hiring discussions, offers, and closing.
• Track recruiting and onboarding data, identify bottlenecks, improve processes, and build knowledge of Terray’s science, technology, roles, and talent market.

Requirements

• Experience coordinating recruiting, talent acquisition, or a similar people-focused process in a fast-moving organization.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple searches, candidates, and hiring teams simultaneously.
• Excellent candidate communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong judgment and the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers and senior leaders.
• Experience coordinating interviews, hiring decisions, offers, and onboarding.
• Comfort using recruiting data and systems to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and improve processes.
• Highly organized, responsive, and attentive to detail while maintaining focus on candidate experience.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn enough about highly technical roles to communicate effectively with candidates and hiring teams.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in biotech, life sciences, technology, or another specialized talent environment.
