Contract Recruiting Operations Specialist

Location: Remote (United States)

Compensation: $50–$75 per hour, depending on experience, expertise, and qualifications. This is a contractor role and does not include employee benefits, bonuses, equity, or other company-sponsored benefit plans.

What you will do

• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, sourcing criteria, and candidate profiles.
• Source, engage, and present qualified candidates through LinkedIn, online platforms, referrals, and creative sourcing strategies.
• Manage recruiting workflows from candidate identification through offer acceptance, including interviews, communications, feedback, and hiring decisions.
• Maintain accurate ATS records, interview documentation, recruiting metrics, and pipeline reports.
• Prepare interview materials, track progress, identify bottlenecks, and provide recruiting status updates.
• Collaborate with People, Finance, leadership, and hiring managers to improve workflows, job descriptions, sourcing strategies, and candidate experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, HR, people operations, or a similar sourcing and coordination role.
• Full-cycle recruiting experience across a range of roles and functions.
• Experience using an applicant tracking system and working cross-functionally with hiring managers and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, project management, communication, and follow-through skills.
• Comfort learning new systems, using technology and AI tools, and working in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
