Director, Corporate Security & Business Resilience

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States; hybrid, with in-office work approximately 2–3 days per week. Requires 24/7/365 on-call availability for critical situations and travel as needed.

Salary: $161,072–$217,920 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and execute an integrated strategy for physical security, crisis management, business continuity, and organizational resilience.
• Direct risk assessment and mitigation, emergency planning and response, business recovery, and protection of people, assets, operations, and reputation.
• Establish policies, processes, governance, and performance measures for physical security, incident response, and critical business process resilience.
• Lead sensitive and complex investigations while minimizing organizational liability.
• Advise multidisciplinary teams, senior executives, and the Board of Directors when needed on security, crisis response, and continuity risks.
• Build and develop a high-performing team and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies, regulators, government agencies, and contracted service providers.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in a related field required; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Industry-specific certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designations.
• At least 10 years of management experience in the physical security or law enforcement profession.
• At least 3 years of experience in a corporate business setting, preferably in the financial industry.
• Ability to work in a Minneapolis-based hybrid arrangement, in the office approximately 2–3 days per week.
• Ability to remain on call and available 24/7/365 for critical situations and incidents.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the financial industry.
• Experience representing an organization to law enforcement, emergency response agencies, and governmental agencies such as OSHA, EPA, and DNR.
