Sr Manager Executive Protection

Location: El Segundo, California, United States; onsite role with frequent travel, including short-notice domestic and international travel

Salary: $142,000–$175,000 annual base pay

What you will do

• Lead executive protection, protective intelligence, workplace security, and emergency response operations for senior leadership.
• Conduct threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments covering executives, residences, workplaces, events, and travel.
• Develop security plans, travel protocols, crisis response procedures, policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Coordinate executive travel security, including transportation, accommodations, medical support, security providers, and law enforcement resources.
• Manage executive protection vendors, armed security providers, budgets, performance standards, and operational resources.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and oversee security analysts, executive protection personnel, drivers, and related program capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, security management, business administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in executive protection, corporate security, military, or law enforcement, including 3 or more years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, analytical, crisis management, communication, collaboration, and open-source intelligence analysis skills.
• Proficiency in first aid, defensive driving, and evasive driving.
• Ability to work under high-stress conditions and maintain discretion, confidentiality, integrity, and a professional demeanor.
• Availability for frequent, short-notice travel and work during evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.

Nice to have

• CCW certification.
• Certified Protection Professional, Executive Protection Specialist, or similar security certification.
• Global experience, multilingual skills, and strong geographic knowledge.
