Emergency Manager (Business Continuity)

Location: Hybrid in Brazil or the United States. Brazil locations are Suzano, SP or São Paulo, SP; United States locations are The Woodlands, TX or Charlotte, NC. The final work location depends on the selected candidate's profile and location. The Brazil model requires 3 days on-site.

What you will do

• Steer and maintain the regional Emergency Management program, including SOPs, guidelines, and simulation exercises.
• Manage and continuously improve the Business Continuity Management System across the Americas and LATAM region.
• Monitor Emergency Management performance against KPIs, identify gaps, and implement improvements.
• Develop training materials and support Emergency Management and BCMS training for regional teams.
• Support global emergency preparedness initiatives and act as deputy to the Head of Emergency Management when required.
• Lead root cause analysis for emergency incidents and conduct operational assessment audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; aptitude in crisis management systems is prioritized.
• Senior-level experience in Crisis Management, Business Continuity, or EHS, including at least 3 years in a strategic and decision-making capacity.
• Experience leading complex emergency management initiatives and influencing stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, make sound judgments under pressure, and remain composed during high-stakes emergency scenarios.
• Ability to work in the hybrid regional locations specified above.
