Sr Global Protective Security Operations Specialist (Global Security)

Location: San Diego, California, United States; based at the hirify.global Headquarters

Base salary: $90,000–$135,000 annually, plus eligible variable cash programs, equity for eligible roles, and benefits.

What you will do

• Administer the global travel security function, including risk assessments, approvals, communications, vendors, and stakeholder management.
• Monitor worldwide events and geopolitical threats, assess destination risks, and provide travel guidance, contingency plans, briefings, and advisories.
• Produce tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence products for employees, executives, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Design and implement security plans for board meetings, shareholder meetings, product launches, and large corporate events.
• Manage venue security operations, including access control, crowd management, asset protection, and technical surveillance countermeasures.
• Support crisis management, workplace safety programs, internal investigations, threat assessments, and incident response.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in corporate security, global intelligence, executive protection, or specialized military or law enforcement units.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in corporate or government travel security, risk assessment, investigations, threat monitoring, and protection operations.
• Knowledge of global geopolitical risks and their impact on business operations.
• Strong critical thinking, analysis, communication, and report-writing skills, including communication with senior executives.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; fluency in a second language is preferred.
