Associate Dispatcher (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Coppell, Texas, United States. Hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office; some roles may require more frequent in-office presence, including up to 5 days per week.

Base hourly wage: $29.00–$36.00 per hour, plus benefits eligibility.

What you will do

• Monitor and assign loads, operators, and equipment according to daily operational priorities.
• Manage execution escalations by messaging customers, monitoring alerts, and driving issue resolution.
• Support field operations and manage emergency situations with composure and swift judgment.
• Identify operational bottlenecks, enforce global process standards, and execute efficiency initiatives.
• Maintain a safety-first operating environment across mission activities.
• Adapt to real-time operational changes and provide clear updates to peers and leadership.

Requirements

• Confident command decision-making under pressure, with the ability to prioritize competing operational needs and remain composed during high-stress field escalations.
• Strong commitment to safety-first operations, including critical thinking, real-time risk assessment, hazard identification, and protocol enforcement.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to turn complex field data into concise instructions for operators, engineers, and leadership.
• Strong record-keeping habits and the ability to adjust priorities, reroute assets, and manage dynamic operational changes accurately.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and willingness to learn and adopt new technical tools in multidisciplinary, fast-paced environments.
• Availability for flexible schedules, including mandatory weekends and non-standard operational shifts.
• High School Diploma or GED required, with equivalent practical experience accepted.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of dispatch, fleet coordination, or logistics experience in trucking, technology, robotics, automotive, or other high-tempo operations; direct autonomous vehicle experience is a plus but not required.
• Formal or informal team leadership experience, including de-escalating team or customer friction, coaching peers, and fostering team cohesion.
• Experience with Computer-Aided Dispatch software, GPS fleet tracking platforms, multi-monitor setups, and dynamic task management systems.
• Continuous improvement experience, including mentoring junior colleagues, refining standard operating procedures, and optimizing workflows.
• Adaptability to variable day, night, overnight, and weekend shifts, including short-notice coverage.
• BA/BS degree in Logistics, Operations, Aviation, or a business-related field preferred.
