Site Operations Manager (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Eden Prairie, MN — Onsite. Up to 10% travel is required; the physical requirements section states moderate travel of 11%–25%. Work includes shifts outside normal business hours, outdoor conditions, prolonged standing, ladder climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Oversee Site Supervisors, Technicians, and contracted Autonomous Vehicle Operators to run seamless shuttle operations.
• Ensure rigorous safety standards, develop a strong safety culture, and deliver reliable service to customers and passengers.
• Implement daily protocols and reporting, track site performance metrics, and improve operational outcomes.
• Meet financial goals and manage spending in line with the site operating budget.
• Partner with People Operations on staffing and performance decisions, and communicate with engineers when technical issues require escalation.
• Work with Field Operations to train site leadership and test new vehicle technology rollouts.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in Business, Technical Operations, or another field.
• At least 1 year of experience leading people in a fast-adapting, customer-focused environment.
• Experience making judgment calls in ambiguous situations, developing processes, and managing projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across multiple platforms, with strict attention to detail.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and willingness to undergo a driving record check.
• Ability to set goals, create plans, delegate tasks, follow through, lead people, drive results, and work effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
• Ability to remain stationary for 50% or more of the time, move or change positions as needed, use a computer for extended periods, install hardware and software, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions and climb ladders when needed.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Technical Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience leading people in a fast-adapting, customer-focused environment.
• Leadership experience in a startup environment and proven change management experience.
• Operations or logistics experience.
• Working knowledge of Google Suite, Slack, Jira, and Asana.
