CMP Commodity Manager

Location: Hybrid work model with on-site and off-site work at an assigned hirify.global site; primary location in Hillsboro, Oregon, with an additional location in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. This position is not eligible for hirify.global immigration sponsorship.

Annual salary: $107,990–$214,440 USD.

What you will do

• Develop and execute multiyear commodity strategies based on market dynamics and business objectives.
• Lead supplier sourcing, selection, performance management, relationship management, business continuity planning, and supplier development.
• Negotiate purchasing contracts, statements of work, and pricing for goods and services.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and cross-functional teams to acquire materials and services cost-effectively, resolve supplier disputes, and ensure procurement compliance.
• Lead sustainability initiatives, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive projects with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and optimize supply chains for emerging technology products, including financial analysis of supplier investment strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree in one of these fields with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in contracting, negotiating, and supplier relationship management.
• At least 3 years of experience with supply chain fundamentals, market dynamics, and risk mitigation strategies.
• At least 3 years of experience using data analysis tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership skills to drive results and manage ambiguity.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.

• Experience in semiconductor or manufacturing industries, including CMP.
• Commodity management and program management expertise.
• Experience with purchasing policies and supplier system tools.
