What you will do

  • Support the transition of several semiconductor chip programs from prototype to production.
  • Source, evaluate, and procure third-party semiconductor IP, including processor cores, interface and SerDes PHYs, memory compilers, standard cell and I/O libraries, and analog or power IP.

  • Manage logistics and trade operations for high-value, sensitive goods, including freight forwarders, carriers, customs clearance, import and export documentation, duties, tariffs, and incoterms.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, engineers, executives, and external partners while identifying risks early and recommending options.
  • Build and maintain trackers, templates, procedures, and other supply chain processes as the company scales.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of supply chain, sourcing, or procurement experience for the Manager level, or 8+ years for the Senior Manager level, including direct semiconductor industry experience. Relevant backgrounds include fabless companies, IDMs, foundries, OSATs, IP vendors, and semiconductor equipment companies.
  • Proven experience sourcing, evaluating, and procuring third-party semiconductor IP, including negotiating license fees, NRE, royalties, scope, and renewals.
  • Ability to work with design and verification engineers on technical and commercial IP evaluation, including process node and foundry compatibility, silicon proof, deliverables, vendor support, roadmap, and vendor financial health.
  • Strong logistics and trade operations experience covering freight forwarders and carriers, international shipping of high-value and sensitive goods, customs clearance, import and export documentation, duties, tariffs, and incoterms.
  • Working knowledge of chip design, manufacturing, packaging, testing, and shipping sufficient to follow supplier and engineering discussions.
  • Strong cost analysis, negotiation, and contract skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel, and discipline in building and maintaining trackers, templates, and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including keeping managers and partners informed and escalating risks early with options and a recommendation.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment with a bias toward execution.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience at a startup or small company where processes were built from scratch.
  • Experience with export controls and ITAR in a semiconductor or defense-adjacent environment.
  • Experience with demand and supply planning, S&OP, and inventory management.
  • Experience with high-mix, low-volume products or early production ramps.
  • Experience with EDA tool licensing.
  • Familiarity with ERP and planning systems.
  • APICS certification such as CPIM or CSCP, CPSM certification, or an MBA.
  • Hands-on foundry or OSAT management experience.

Culture & Benefits

  • Ownership and the opportunity to make an impact while working on complex energy-efficiency and computing challenges.
  • Competitive base salary, annual bonus, meaningful equity, and comprehensive benefits.
  • 401(k) match and company-paid benefits.
