Algorithm Developer, Masters Degree, New College Grad (Santa Clara) (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; travel required up to 10% of the time; relocation eligible.

Salary: $131,000–$180,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop or improve algorithmic features and MATLAB system or product features through research, design, development, implementation, and proliferation.
• Perform algorithmic concept and feasibility work, including problem analysis, data gathering, literature review, concept selection, evaluation, and implementation constraint analysis.
• Prepare information for work plans and document algorithmic development.
• Plan and support the implementation, integration, and testing of algorithmic modules.
• Work with internal and external customers on gap analysis, activity definition, data collection, integration, testing, and proliferation of algorithmic solutions.
• Understand the system and application environment for assigned features and participate in system definition.

Requirements

• Master’s degree.
• New college graduate status.
• Conceptual knowledge in the relevant discipline and the ability to broaden technical capabilities.
• Ability to understand key business drivers and apply technical experience and judgment to solve straightforward problems.
• Ability to explain complex information clearly and work with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work within project budgets, schedules, guidelines, and policies.
