TL;DR

Location: On-site in Wilton, Connecticut, US, with a flexible arrangement potentially allowing remote work up to two days per week. Travel of up to 10% to Europe, Asia, and other US locations may be required. Access to controlled technology requires legal authorization under US export administration regulations.

What you will do
- Design, develop, build, and integrate optical and photonic alignment sensor systems for lithography machines.
- Develop optical, electro-optical, detector, fiber-optic, and signal-processing solutions in collaboration with related engineering disciplines.
- Lead root-cause investigations, complex testing, data collection, and sensor performance evaluation.
- Develop and debug data signal-processing algorithms and implement analysis techniques in MATLAB.
- Lead engineers across software, electronics, equipment, and manufacturing engineering to deliver sensor features.
- Communicate technical findings and recommendations to engineers, stakeholders, suppliers, customers, and managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in physics, optics, engineering, or another technical field.
- At least 2, 5, or 8 years of experience depending on the assigned JG07, JG08, or JG09 level.
- Hands-on experience aligning optical systems, including imaging, testing, and detector systems.
- Experience with data processing, analysis, and software tools such as MATLAB; familiarity with Python and LabVIEW.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills required.
- Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under US export regulations before starting work.
