Manager, HR (St Peters, MO)

Location: On-site in St. Peters, Missouri, United States; Monday–Friday with flexibility for a multiple-shift operation. Business travel may be required up to 25% of the time within and outside the state.

Salary: $101,000–$152,000 annual; bonus and/or incentive eligible.

What you will do

• Lead implementation of HR services, policies, and programs at the assigned location and advise local managers on HR matters.
• Coach employees and managers on HR policies, employee relations, and workplace issues.
• Support recruitment, selection, retention, onboarding, career pathing, outplacement counseling, and exit interviews.
• Assess employee climate and implement actions that improve employee relations.
• Identify training needs, develop training plans, and deliver or coordinate employee and management development programs.
• Administer job evaluations, compensation programs, workers’ compensation cases, restricted-duty assignments, and return-to-work processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 4 years of experience in Human Resources positions.
• Thorough knowledge of human resource policies and procedures, as well as federal and state laws.
• Experience reviewing and reconnecting on actions and with people to ensure task completion.
• Experience controlling and coordinating concurrent projects, competing priorities, and critical deadlines.
• Experience developing and delivering presentations to audiences at various organizational levels.

Nice to have

• PHR or SPHR certification or licensure.
• Experience managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing employees.
