Project Delivery Manager - Brisbane (Manufacturing)

Location: Remote-based in the Brisbane area, Australia, with a preference for candidates near a major airport; domestic travel of up to 30% and work in industrial customer worksites are required.

What you will do

• Own customer contracts and deliver complex projects on time, within budget, to quality standards, and with strong customer satisfaction.
• Develop project plans, define resource requirements, and lead project teams through contracted outcomes.
• Manage scope, variations, milestones, documentation, reporting, cash flow, and financial goals.
• Coordinate customers, suppliers, contractors, experts, third parties, and cross-functional stakeholders while communicating project progress and expectations.
• Manage compliance risks, conduct project reviews, document lessons learned, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Complete project handovers and compliance documentation while promoting a Safety First culture.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of project management experience leading complex, customer-facing projects from initiation through delivery.
• Experience managing customers, suppliers, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong project planning, risk management, budgeting, and project delivery expertise in manufacturing, food processing, mining, construction, industrial equipment, engineering services, or similar industries.
• Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions, deliver outcomes in remote and dynamic environments, adapt to changing priorities, manage ambiguity, and solve complex problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, commercial acumen, and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work in both an open office setting and on industrial customer worksites.
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid passport, have an unrestricted driver's licence in the country of residence, and be able to travel domestically up to 30%.

Nice to have

• A tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Project Management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
• Background in engineering, project coordination, manufacturing, construction, technical customer service, operations, site supervision, or similar fields.
