Principal Manager, Project Management

Location: Hybrid role based at the SCE facility in Rosemead, California; employees are generally required to work and reside in California. The role includes up to 20% travel and field work throughout the SCE service territory. Relocation may apply.

Salary: $206,400–$309,600 annually.

What you will do

• Establish and communicate the enterprise-wide project management vision, policies, objectives, and strategy.
• Advise senior leaders on project investments, strategic initiatives, and benefits realization while aligning the project portfolio with corporate strategy.
• Lead the project management community of practice and improve project performance metrics and delivery capabilities.
• Manage large-scale strategic projects, including scope, timelines, cost estimates, design, resources, change control, and stakeholder visibility.
• Develop budget forecasts and conduct budget analysis to keep critical projects on time, on budget, and within scope.
• Build, lead, and monitor project teams, ensuring quality, timely delivery, effective collaboration, and performance management.

Requirements

• At least seven years of experience supervising direct reports and/or working in project management.
• Experience establishing enterprise-wide project management vision, policies, and objectives.
• Ability to protect physical, financial, and cybersecurity assets and properly manage sensitive customer, proprietary, medical, and other confidential information.
• Ability to work and reside in California unless otherwise noted.
• Ability to complete a Personnel Risk Assessment or Background Investigation and specified NERC/CIP training before gaining unescorted access to assigned work locations.

Nice to have

• Advanced education, a degree, or certification in facilities management and/or asset management.
• Experience managing large construction portfolios exceeding $100 million annually.
• Ten years of experience managing people, budgets, and work scope.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships with executives, managers, individuals, and contractors.
