Operations Manager (Energy Efficiency)

Location: Remote, Newark, New Jersey, United States

Base salary: $110,000–$150,000 per year, plus potential discretionary annual bonus

What you will do

• Support energy efficiency program design, work plans, staffing assignments, forecasting, and delivery against goals.
• Coordinate large-budget programs for utility clients in accordance with contracts and budgets.
• Define, quantify, track, and deliver program outputs accurately and on schedule.
• Assess progress, address market changes, and develop solutions to implementation challenges.
• Manage cross-functional delivery teams and subcontractors.
• Manage client communications, expectations, satisfaction, and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, energy, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in energy efficiency or demand-side management.
• Experience developing and implementing project scopes, budgets, plans, and forecasts.
• Experience with short- and long-range planning, strategy, contract development, and negotiation.
• Strong project and program management, process-flow, communication, interpersonal, multitasking, and deadline-management skills.
• Interest in sustainability and environmental impact.
