Staff Technical Product Manager (AI)

Location: Remote in the United States or Canada

Salary: CAD 130,000–160,000 or USD 160,000–220,000 annually

What you will do

• Define product strategy, vision, roadmaps, priorities, and success metrics for major client engagements.
• Lead complex discovery and problem framing with senior client stakeholders before solutions are built.
• Drive alignment across engineering, design, delivery, and strategy while managing business value, technical constraints, and delivery timelines.
• Build trusted advisor relationships and communicate strategy, trade-offs, and recommendations at the executive level.
• Lead stakeholder workshops and decision-making forums across large organizations.
• Establish delivery standards, mentor PMs, and act as a technical escalation point for complex product, scope, and prioritization challenges.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience with a strong consultative background.
• Experience defining product strategy and vision for complex digital engagements.
• Deep experience leading discovery, roadmapping, and delivery across multi-stakeholder environments.
• Strong executive communication and client advisory skills.
• Ability to drive cross-functional alignment and influence without authority.
• Experience defining and tracking product success metrics, with high accountability, ownership, and follow-through.
• Proficiency with product tools for discovery, roadmapping, and delivery, including Jira, Productboard, Amplitude, and Miro.
• Deep applied experience with AI tools for product discovery, research synthesis, and documentation, including Claude.
• Prior exposure to building or shipping AI/ML products and a point of view on how AI is changing product management.
• Consulting or professional services delivery background.

Nice to have

• Comfort prototyping with Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot to validate product hypotheses.
• Working fluency in GenAI fundamentals, including LLMs, RAG, prompt and context engineering, and model limitations.
• Hands-on contribution to AI-powered products, including features, prompts, or evaluations.
• Vertical experience in Consumer Products and Retail, Education, Energy, Financial Services, Healthcare, or Manufacturing.
