Area Manager (Back Half Days) (Logistics)

Location: On-site at the warehouse in Bethlehem, PA, US. Schedule: Thursday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM. Overtime is required during peak periods.

What you will do

• Lead shift operations and oversee approximately 250 workers and 4–5 managers.
• Plan and run shifts, including pre-shift meetings, production targets, labor planning, and shift reporting.
• Support supervisors with personnel, quality, safety, and operational issues.
• Resolve employee relations matters and conflicts in partnership with HR.
• Improve operating methods, procedures, process quality, and communication across shifts and departments.
• Lead operations during the warehouse launch and growth period, including work in a live construction environment.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a distribution center or warehouse environment.
• At least 1 year of operations experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Experience creating and executing shift plans and meeting production goals.
• Familiarity with warehouse management software, Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Suite, Gmail, and basic formulas.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, prioritization, judgment, confidentiality, and people-management skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for 8–10 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and use a pallet jack.

• Previous experience with or knowledge of Workday.
