Executive Producer (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Nashville, TN; onsite.

What you will do

• Lead production across pre-production planning, execution, and post-production delivery.
• Supervise and develop the production team, conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and assign weekly priorities.
• Manage production schedules, budgets, sourcing, deadlines, and resource allocation.
• Drive business and revenue goals through strategic content and production decisions.
• Develop strategies to strengthen brand performance across platforms and guide story coverage.
• Recommend show guests based on current events and audience interests, while supporting additional production projects.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in a professional production environment, including podcast production or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills, including the ability to guide teams and hold them accountable.
• Working knowledge of the current political landscape and a strong interest in news, politics, and cultural commentary across media platforms.
• Strong creative instincts and storytelling judgment, with knowledge of video and sound editing and all phases of post-production.
• Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects.
• Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to share ideas and address concerns respectfully and constructively.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and flexibility to manage competing priorities.
• A self-motivated and resourceful approach, a sense of urgency, initiative, ability to navigate ambiguity, and ability to develop innovative solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
