Editor (Video Production)

Location: Secaucus, United States. Eligible employees may work remotely one day per week; the role otherwise requires regular onsite work. Nights, weekends, and live-event coverage may be required.

Salary: $29.76 per hour

The hirify.global is a global sports and media organization operating professional basketball leagues and digital, social, broadcast, and community platforms worldwide.

What you will do

• Edit game recaps, highlight reels, player features, promotional videos, branded content, and sponsored content.
• Identify storylines and content opportunities during live hirify.global games and major league events.
• Create storyboards, voiceover scripts, and shot sheets to support game narratives.
• Produce and deliver platform-optimized video for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, the hirify.global App, hirify.global.com, and other channels.
• Collaborate with producers, content creators, and designers while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Maintain hirify.global editorial and brand standards while monitoring trends in sports media and social video.

Requirements

• 3+ years of video editing experience, preferably in sports or entertainment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and other relevant tools.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and content performance across Facebook, Instagram, X, Snapchat, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Strong writing, communication, storytelling, and editorial judgment skills.
• Deep knowledge of and passion for the hirify.global, Whirify.global, G League, and their players, coaches, and teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
