Editor (Sports Video)

Location: Secaucus, USA; eligible employees may work remotely one day per week.

Salary: $29.76 per hour.

What you will do

• Edit game recaps, highlight reels, player features, promotional content, branded content, and sponsored content.
• Identify story elements from live hirify.global games and tentpole events, including nights and weekends.
• Create storyboards, voiceover scripts, and shot sheets to support game stories.
• Deliver platform-optimized video content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, Snapchat, the hirify.global App, hirify.global.com, and other digital channels.
• Collaborate with producers, content creators, and designers while maintaining hirify.global brand and editorial standards.
• Manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and participate in content planning for league social and digital platforms.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of and passion for the hirify.global, Whirify.global, G League, and their players, coaches, and teams.
• Background in digital, social, photography and graphics production/editing, or video content production.
• Strong writing, communication, and editorial judgment skills.
• Experience creating branded and sponsored content for external clients.
• Strong knowledge and active use of Facebook, Instagram, X, Snapchat, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects.
• At least 3 years of video-editing experience, preferably in sports or entertainment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple tasks precisely, and meet deadlines.
• Ability and willingness to work nights, weekends, and live events as needed; a bachelor's degree in Media Production, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is required.

• Experience in sports or entertainment video editing.
• A portfolio of video work.
