Video Production Manager

Location: Boston, MA, United States. Hybrid schedule with work from the office four days per week and flexibility to work remotely one day per week. Travel is required for on-site shoots.

Salary: USD 120,000–225,000 per year, plus potential bonus, incentives, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own video projects from concept, scripting, and treatment through filming, editing, finishing, and distribution.
• Work as a hands-on self-shooter using professional cameras, lighting, audio, and Adobe Creative Suite tools.
• Direct senior executives, investors, and portfolio managers on camera through media training, coaching, and narrative guidance.
• Deliver polished visual stories with strong cinematography, composition, pacing, color grading, motion graphics, and sound design.
• Help define video strategy and content calendars, manage budgets and vendors, and coordinate junior producers, freelancers, and agency crews.
• Coordinate legal, compliance, releases, and approvals while maintaining the video library, production calendars, and viewership metrics.

Requirements

• 10+ years of video production experience, ideally in-house within financial services, professional services, or a corporate brand.
• Hands-on experience with DSLR or cinema cameras, lighting design, audio recording, interviews, and brand shoots.
• Expertise in non-linear editing, post-production, color grading, and professional sound design or mixing.
• Portfolio or reel demonstrating premium editorial quality and documentary-style storytelling in business contexts.
• Strong communication and executive presence, with the ability to direct C-suite leaders and senior portfolio managers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, plus the ability to travel and perform physical production work.

Nice to have

• Podcast production experience.
• Motion graphics for data visualization.
• Drone operation experience, including FAA Part 107 certification.
