Senior Social Video Producer (AI)

Location: United States of America; flexible hybrid work with occasional in-person events and team sessions. Availability for weekends, evenings and holidays is required as needed.

Salary: $90,750–$188,750 per year, with possible discretionary bonus or commissions.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end production of social-first vertical videos, including scripting, producing, shooting, editing and publishing.
• Develop daily content, video formats and longer-term series for lifestyle, news and entertainment coverage.
• Capture interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and event coverage at locations such as award shows and press junkets.
• Use approved generative AI tools to create script variations, develop hooks and adapt editorial content into vertical video concepts.
• Collaborate with reporters, editors, producers, creators, talent and premium publishers on major events and editorial projects.
• Monitor trends, coordinate production workflows and analyze video performance to improve future content.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in video production and social programming.
• Proven ability to shoot vertical, social-first video in the field.
• Extensive experience with Adobe Premiere, Canva and other visual editing tools, including AI video features such as smart reframing, text-based editing and generative assets.
• Understanding of when to use AI automation and when human editorial judgment is required.
• Knowledge of social media platforms, audience engagement strategies, analytics and social listening tools such as Google Trends and Newswhip.
• Strong communication, strategic thinking, multitasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced editorial environment.

• Experience covering entertainment events such as red carpets and press junkets.
• Experience producing creators and talent.
