Senior Demand Lead (Pharmaceutical Supply Chain)

Location: Cambridge, MA or Morristown, NJ; hybrid work schedule with 20% travel expected. US and Puerto Rico residents only.

Salary: $174,750–$252,416.66 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the market-level integrated business planning process for selected pharmaceutical franchises and drive continuous improvement.
• Align Demand Leads, Demand Planners, Business Units, Finance, Regulatory, Quality, production planners, and other stakeholders around one business plan with scenarios and assumptions.
• Orchestrate the monthly IBP cycle, including portfolio management, demand review, supply review, integrated reconciliation, and Management Business Review meetings.
• Monitor demand, supply constraints, inventory, launches, regulatory and commercial topics, and ensure accurate reflection in planning tools.
• Analyze IBP dashboards and KPIs, driving improvements in sales performance, OTIF, MAPE, SPA, inventory, destructions, and write-offs.
• Coordinate product launches, network changes, global product reviews, S&OE activities, risk mitigation, and communication with global supply chain functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in the supply chain or manufacturing industry.
• English language skills.
• High accountability, attention to detail, integrity, professionalism, and commitment.
• Good team facilitation and relationship-building skills.

Nice to have

• Strong negotiation, communication, strategic thinking, change management, and influencing skills.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience, including knowledge of primary and secondary manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of manufacturing finance, supply chain management, and improvement projects.
• Experience with scenario planning, risk-benefit analysis, contingency planning, and problem solving.
• Experience motivating and influencing resources without direct reporting responsibility.
• Excellent systems and project management skills; SAP and Kinaxis are preferred, with a basic understanding of financial functions.
• Experience managing the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico demand market and launching new products for North American markets from a supply chain perspective.
