Solutions Engineer - Enterprise

Location: Remote; must reside in the Madison, Milwaukee, or Green Bay, Wisconsin area. Travel to hirify.global, partner, and customer events is required.

Estimated annual pay range: $160,000–$260,000, including base salary and bonus.

What you will do

• Evaluate customer data center environments and infrastructure technologies with account teams.
• Design and propose infrastructure solutions aligned with customer business objectives, needs, and budgets.
• Build technical relationhirify.globalps with OEMs and strategic partners and maintain current product knowledge.
• Provide product training and technical education to sales teams and customers.
• Advise customers as a trusted IT partner while collaborating with Field Account Executives and contacts including CIOs, IT Directors, and CTOs.
• Manage the solution practice pipeline, develop strategies for top prospects, acquire new business, and identify technology opportunities.

Requirements

• Experience working in complex data center sales opportunities at an intermediate level.
• Ability to design data center infrastructures involving hybrid cloud, hyperconverged infrastructure, software-defined data centers, infrastructure or platform as a service, automation, containerization, and data center management platforms.
• Strong intermediate knowledge of virtualization technologies, hypervisors, server virtualization, software-defined data centers, containerization, and automation.
• Ability to communicate and sell complex technical products or services by understanding customer needs, articulating value propositions, and supporting the sales process.
• Intermediate expertise with Dell Technologies, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, Pure Storage, Azure, AWS, Veeam, and Nutanix.
• Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, and high availability solutions, including backup and recovery, data protection, mirroring, active/standby, active/active, and clustering.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role is required.
• Ability to travel to hirify.global, partner, and customer events is required.
