Presales Solutions Engineer - Identity

Location: Remote, required to reside in the Central region of the United States; travel to SHI, partner, and customer events is required.

Base salary: $96,000–$184,000 annually. Estimated on-target earnings, including base salary and bonus: $120,000–$230,000.

What you will do

• Collaborate with account teams to assess customer cybersecurity technologies, needs, goals, and objectives.
• Engage with CIOs, CSOs, CISOs, security engineers, procurement contacts, and other client stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver cybersecurity services offerings, sales collateral, technical presentations, and identity security demonstrations.
• Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling and key technologies through individual, team, and company training.
• Study emerging technologies, market trends, and industry developments while building job-related expertise through independent lab work.
• Develop identity security use cases in the SHI lab to support sales engagements.

Requirements

• Experience working with identity management and security solutions, including expert technical knowledge of security solutions.
• Deep technical knowledge of identity governance and security, including IAM, PAM, IGA, SSO, MFA, CIAM, CLM, and PKI controls.
• Excellent presentation skills, including the ability to run demonstrations of identity security solutions.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication, relationship-building, attention to detail, organization, follow-up, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong documentation skills, including the creation of system and network diagrams and presentations.
• General understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, and CIS.
• A completed bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, 5+ years of experience in a technical cybersecurity role, and 3+ years of experience in security presales consulting.
• Ability to travel to SHI, partner, and customer events.

Nice to have

• CISSP, relevant GIAC certification, SSCP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, CPT, CWSP, CCNP Security, CCIE Security, or relevant professional certifications from cybersecurity OEMs.
