Warehouse Support Specialist

What you will do

• Accept equipment at the dock, receive and store items in inventory, and pick, pack, and ship equipment.
• Perform automated configuration management, inventory control processing, and reporting using the Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System.
• Process, package, and ship materials for repair or warranty evaluation and disposal.
• Perform quality-control functions for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts; obtain Raymond Lift certification within the first 30 days.
• Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly status and activity reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or associate degree and at least 3 years of warehouse management and logistics experience, or a high school diploma/GED and at least 5 years of logistics analysis experience.
• Experience in integrated logistics support, including warehouse management, logistics program planning and concept development, provisioning, supply support and inventory control, logistics automated information systems and analysis tools, or maintenance concepts and requirements analyses.
• Experience working in a Department of Defense customer environment and integrating effectively with a government multi-contractor team.
• Active Secret US Government Clearance; US citizenship is required to maintain the clearance.
• Ability to work independently within a team environment and start quickly under the supervision of a Team Lead.

• Military experience in a Supply Career Management Field.
• Experience in supply, stockroom, warehouse, and inventory operations.
• Experience with warehouse management functions related to network infrastructure equipment.
• Experience packaging and handling items prepared for storage and shipping.
