IT Logistics Specialist

Location: Orlando, FL, United States; non-remote. Relocation incentive available.

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop logistics plans for the acquisition, storage, distribution, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of IT assets.
• Maintain asset records for hardware, software licenses, peripherals, and related technology resources.
• Conduct inventories, audits, and asset reconciliation activities to ensure accountability and accurate records.
• Track IT assets throughout their lifecycle and support technology refresh, hardware replacement, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Coordinate with procurement teams, vendors, suppliers, technical support teams, and government stakeholders on delivery, maintenance, warranties, and replacements.
• Prepare logistics reports, inventory status reports, distribution logs, schedules, configuration records, and compliance documentation.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret Clearance are required.
• At least one year of experience in logistics, supply chain operations, inventory management, asset management, customer support, or related operational functions.
• Experience maintaining records, schedules, reports, inventories, and documentation.
• Experience with technical editing, documentation management, records management, or configuration management processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, communication, prioritization, and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, information technology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Army logistics, procurement, asset management, and Department of Defense procedures.
• Experience with IT asset management, hardware lifecycle management, technology refresh initiatives, or enterprise asset management platforms.
• Knowledge of software licensing, hardware asset management, and equipment accountability processes.
