Vice President - Global Warehouse and Supply Chain

What you will do

• Lead operating performance across 30 warehouses and 12 forward operating bases in North America, Europe, and Australia.
• Consolidate independently managed international locations into a global supply chain function with common standards, reporting, and system direction while accommodating regional requirements.
• Manage operating budgets, headcount plans, staffing models, cost reduction, carrier and 3PL relationships, warehouse leases, and network footprint decisions.
• Establish standards and performance metrics for receiving, put-away, cycle counting, staging, kitting, pick/pack, shipping, returns, RMAs, inventory accuracy, and labor productivity.
• Sponsor the warehouse modernization program, including WMS selection and implementation, supplier EDI integration, tracking automation, process adoption, resourcing, and executive business-case approval.
• Lead global warehouse and logistics teams, develop site leadership, manage resistance to process and system change, and develop the Manager of Supply Chain Process & Systems.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in supply chain, distribution, or logistics, including 5+ years leading multi-site operations, preferably across more than one country or region.
• Experience managing multi-site operating budgets and headcount plans, including labor models, flexible staffing, and cost performance against plan.
• Demonstrated experience standardizing operations across locations that were previously managed independently.
• Experience as business sponsor or owner of a WMS, ERP, or TMS implementation, with accountability for adoption and business outcomes; technical configuration experience is not required.
• Working knowledge of ERP-driven distribution operations; Microsoft Dynamics 365 familiarity is preferred in the source.
• Experience operating in a multi-ERP environment, including consolidation, harmonization, or migration of disparate systems.
• Experience building and presenting business cases and operating results to executive leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Project-based distribution experience in AV, low-voltage, construction, telecommunications, or comparable industries serving scheduled installation dates at job sites.
• Forward operating base, field depot, or field staging model experience.
• Distribution operations experience in Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, or Australia, including cross-border compliance, customs, and VAT or duty considerations.
• Serialized asset and customer-owned inventory management experience.
• Experience integrating distribution operations following an acquisition.
